Game Changing Audio Technology

"The depth and detail of sound is extraordinary, to the extent that I heard sounds on certain tracks that I’ve never noticed before. I can’t think of a better illustration of this than when I listened to Fleetwood Mac’s, The Chain. During that famous riff you can literally feel the vibration from John McVie’s bass guitar. It’s almost like having another sense, or super-hearing."  Read the full article!

Drown Earphones- Tested

"I have to admit that Drown looks really superior to all the headphones I've tried, and the temptation was to close your eyes to try to guess "blindly". After the gaming videos finished, I listened to a swarm of bees that entered my ears, and I really felt some anxiety, as they seemed to have entered the ear canal. In a row then here are the Boston fireworks (magnificent effect) and to conclude videos with water. The rain on the umbrella is the one whose effect struck me most: the sound of the water really came from ABOVE my head , and not only in my surroundings. It was therefore a very different effect from a generic video with rain noise, which I listened to later." Read the full article!

Drown Provides Tactile Audio Experience to Gamers.

"The creators of Drown have designed it to activate all three of your body’s audio processing mechanisms (yes, there are three of them). Therefore, Drown can transform sounds from just regular noise into a true surround sound experience, allowing users to hear sounds coming from all sides.

This is especially important in some of the games where you need to orient yourself according to sound cues. An example is how speedrunners utilize certain audio cues to do skips for playing the game quicker. In some games, it is the quality of these sound effects that can mean victory or defeat for a player."  Read the full article!

DROWNING IN MY OWN SENSE OF AWE

“What really struck me though was the level of immersion. I genuinely forgot that I was in a massive conference with hundreds of thousands of people and instead found myself releasing a sigh of relief as a bullet flew by me, almost scraping my shoulder. The level of detail, as I heard the bullets flight trajectory was quite unsettling and really made me, albeit fleetingly, fear for my safety.” Read the full article!
